Obituary of Robert C. Hollner

Robert “Bob” C. Hollner Sr, 54, of Smith Road passed away on Tuesday Sept. 1, 2020 at Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Albany, NY on August 20, 1966 and was the son of the late Charles F. and Elizabeth M. Hollner, Jr. Bob owned B & B Interiors, a custom trim and kitchen business in Halfmoon. He was known as a very generous person who would open his heart and door to all. He was a retired member of the Clifton Park/Halfmoon Fire Co. and was president of the Red Knights Chapter NY 12. He was also an active supporter of many other organizations. On Friday nights for most of his life he could be found at Malta Speedway, he was most recently in the pits and was a dedicated member of the #37 Barber RacingTeam. Bob had a great love of family. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and of course his favorite, “the bobber”. He was the beloved husband of Sue Hollner, whom he married on Dec. 1, 1999. He was devoted father of Ginger Hollner of Halfmoon, Bobby (Nicole) Hollner of Ballston Spa, Chad Hollner (Jackie Hartnagle) of Halfmoon, Katie Cousins and Nichole Charboneau both of Halfmoon, as well as many other children he took under his wing. He was the cherished grandfather of Jamison, Landon, Levi, Dehlyla, Lennox, Ricky and Maddy; also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
