I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Brad was part of a cohort of doctoral students. Cohorts can become very close as we adjust to the life of a PhD student. Good moments in life are fleeting. We shared some stressful times in grad school, but all of us in our cohort remember the great part of that time too. Brad was part of that great time, and he is embedded and part of the lives of many.

Brad was a wonderfully giving individual. He had a special knack for mentoring undergraduate students during his time as a PhD student at the UAlbany School of Criminal Justice. I was lucky enough to work with Brad while I was on the faculty and he was a TA for two of my classes, including helping supervise moot court students. His good will, sense of humor, and insights were a constant, in and out of the classroom. My heartfelt condolences to his family. Jim Acker

My deepest condolences to the family. Lisa and the boys- Brad would often visit my office not only to brighten my day, but share stories of his wonderful family that he loved so much. He will be greatly missed at DCJS. He was a pillar of our executive team. It may have started with his fun, knowledge sharing backgrounds during our Covid WebEx meetings, but he truly had a passion for learning and loved to share. Endless movie quotes and hysterical jokes always. I will miss him greatly. He always has and will continue to bring a smile to my face. God Bless, Jill
