Brittany Prater, 28, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.
Born in Troy, Brittany is the daughter of Alfred M. “Al” (Jean L.) Prater of Troy and the late Robin D. Brevard Prater. She was a graduate of Troy High School, Class of 2009.
Brittany had been employed at Cumberland Farms.
She enjoyed her dogs_and enjoyed being a member of the Charisma Dance Team which was established by her mom Robin in Brooklyn, before she expanded it to the Capital District. While at Troy High School, she was also a member of the Drill Team that her mom also coached. Her other hobbies and interests included softball.
In addition to being survived by her father, “Al” / “Prate” and stepmother Jean, she is the loving sister of Kindra Prater and Xavier Prater, and stepsister Devon Coonan, cherished aunt of Leila Mitchell, Jaiden Prater, Xavier Prater, Jr., Uriah Prater and Jayce Coonan, partner of Joe Reed, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and all of their families, relatives and friends.
Services will be held on a date and time to be announced at here on the website.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hudson Mohawk Humane Society, 3 Menands Ave. Menands, NY 12204, in memory of Brittany Prater.
